My love of photography began with early recollections of watching my dad take silly but unique photographs with just the click of the shutter. Seeing the way his images brought happiness to not only him, but those around him, deepened my appreciation for the art. I dreamt of someday creating that same experience for myself and others.  

Music and travel were two major influences that led me to photography. I was (and still am) an avid traveler and used those opportunities to explore photography on a deeper level. Travel combined with a penchant for attending as many concerts as I could afford and falling deeply in love with live music gave me the motivation to create art of my own.

As a Chicago-based photographer, I love seeing how people interact with their environment in this city. My photography explores a variety of subjects – I enjoy photographing wildlife, landscapes, products, and events in my work. However, I especially love taking portraits and working closely with people. Working with and meeting new people through photography is one of my favorite side effects of the art.
